Entrepreneur from my Perspective

Being an Entrepreneur; n. one who organizes, controls and assumes the risks of a business or other financial enterprise- can be very fulfilling, rewarding and at the same time-a continuous grind.

Entrepreneurship is not for the timid, the applause seeker or the approval needing. Because of the work hours, personal sacrifice, family/peer pressure and lack of psychology preparedness- many of us (entrepreneurs) will not make it in our businesses beyond year eight.

The mental battles and frequent on field skirmishes that must be waged, in order to climb the plateau leading to a ‘mature-thriving-contributing Business’- will defeat  and  seriously wound the  psyche of a once energetic business starter.

This Perspective lists ‘Five Belief Principles’ that will keep me grounded and help me navigate  the hilly terrain, land mine  laden – path toward Entrepreneurial completeness. Perhaps you can also benefit from ‘That Which I Advocate and Strive to Adhere”

 I Believe In:

I. The Power of Prayer and The Power of Reading Scripture

Therefore I Know:

  1. Prayer Activates Faith
  2. Praying gives voice to thoughts
  3. Prayer is conscious and sub-conscious release
  4. Prayer is a direct connection into The Power of God
  5. The Bible provides knowledge and assurance and should be read often

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding” Prov 3:5

Therefore I:

  1. Exercise (walks-run-dance-cycle or yoga) 20 minutes or more daily
  2. Lift weights and Resistance Train  3 times per week
  3. Eat lots of fruit, grain, green and drink lots of water
  4. Massage my feet often- The Relaxation is of great benefit
  5. Sleep at least five hours per night

“Your body will glow with health, Your very bones will vibrate with life” Prov. 3:8

III. The Power of Self Encouragement

Therefore I:

  1. Speak words of Health and of Wealth Into My Life, at all times
  2. List Goals and have a Vision board
  3. Meditate 5-10 minutes after awakening and before bed
  4. Journal; listing thoughts of thanks and gratitude
  5. Act like and Live like the person of my vision and imagination

“He who has slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.” Prov. 10:4

IV. The Power of Wealth Building

Therefore I:

  1. Tithe, Save and Invest 15% of Each Dollar I earn
  2. Am an Entrepreneur with Revenue Streams
  3. Help Others reach their Goals and Make Money
  4. Know Late Fees are Robbers and Debt can be my enemy
  5. Know my Financial position at all times

“Drink water from your own cistern And fresh water from your own well.” Prov. 5:15

V. The Power of Education:

Therefore I:

  1. Read books
  2. Attend Seminars
  3. Read magazines
  4. Listen to Success Audio
  5. Listen to and Seek the knowledge of Others

“A wise man will hear and increase in learning And a man of understanding will acquire wise counsel” Prov 1:5
