CaSandra McLaughlin is a native of Marshall, TX, who loves God, her family, and Mexican food—in that order! She hosts a gospel radio show in Dallas and is very active in serving her listening community. She has enjoyed reading and writing for as long as anyone can remember. In addition to writing books, she wrote and produced her first play, Don’t Love Me to Death, to raise awareness about domestic violence. She also wrote, co-produced, and directed Deacon Brown’s Daughters a movie based on the book Deacon Brown’s Daughters she co-wrote with Michelle Stimpson. Deacon Brown’s Daughter won Best Feature Film at The Capital City Black Film Festival. CaSandra’s desire is to continue her writing journey and bring God glory in all of her stories.
