JUBILEE THEATRE ANNOUNCES CHANGE IN SEASON

Sistas The Musical produced by 3-time Tony winner Hinton Battle”

Fort Worth, TX (February 11, 2019) –Jubilee Theatre announces a change in the last production of the season. The award-winning Theatre is ecstatic to share the DFW premiere of Dorothy Marcic’s “Sistas The Musical” will be the last production of the 2018 – 2019 season, July 26 – August 25, 2019.

New Artistic Director, D. Wambui Richardson, shares his excitement in the change of season and having his directing debut at Jubilee Theatre within the 2018 – 19 season! He shares, “patrons will be able to enjoy 7 decades of music and Sistas is one of the longest running musical!” As jubilee continues to provide great productions for patrons, Richardson shares he is “honored to direct this piece and looks forward to bringing this production to Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex”.

“Sistas The Musical” runs July 26 – August 25, 2019 at Jubilee Theatre, 506 Main Street, Fort Worth, TX 76102. Tickets for “Sistas: The Musical” will be available for purchase on May 24, 2019. At that time, tickets may be purchased online at jubileetheatre.org, in person at the theater Box Office, located at 506 Main Street or by calling 817-338-4411.

Box Office hours of operation are Tuesday – Friday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and one hour before each performance. Evening performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and 8:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Matinee performances are at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Press night is August 1, 2019 at 7:30 p.m.
